Our Application Process

Applications may be completed by simply filling out our application form on the website. All applications should be returned by December 1st. Letters of reference are not required or expected. An application fee is charged, and the application and fee must be submitted before a visit can be arranged.
 

Children and parents are invited to visit together. The visit is designed to be a time for parents to see the school and learn about the program while the children are observed during free play. The children are not expected to separate from their parents during this visit.
 

The Madison Playgroup follows the reply dates established by The Independent Schools Admission Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY). Applications received after December 1st are processed on a space available basis.
 

Parents are required to sign a contract binding them to pay the tuition for the full year and to observe the health and immunization requirements of The Madison Playgroup as a condition of admission.

Children who are eligible to apply will turn 2 between the months of April and November.
